Sanjeev Rajpal, MD, FACS, is the Medical Director of Advanced Bariatric Care. Dr. Rajpal was one of the first surgeons in Brooklyn to perform laparoscopic gallbladder surgery. He is recognized by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery as a Center of Excellence surgeon, a prestigious designation held by a select group of highly skilled weight loss surgeons in the country. Dr. Rajpal is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a proud member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, the American Society of Abdominal Surgeons and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.

Ravi K. Kothuru, MD, completed his medical degree at the Guntur Medical College in India and his surgical residency at the Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center. He is the recipient of a prestigious award from the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. Dr. Kothuru is associated with many professional organizations.

Syed Imran Ahmed, MD, earned his medical degree at the Liaquat Medical College in Sind, Pakistan. He served his medical residency at the Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center and completed a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Robotic Assisted Surgery at the University of Nebraska. Dr. Ahmed is a member of many professional organizations.

Prem Patel, MD, obtained his medical degree as a Master of Surgery at the University of Jabalpur in India. He completed his medical residency at the Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where he serves as a director of the surgical residency program. Dr. Patel is affiliated with numerous professional organizations.
