"Dr. Enochs is hands-down the best doctor I've ever visited. I am so happy I chose him. I've never once regretted my decision and I don't think I ever will. He has a great bedside manner and just overall personality, and he can't be beat!" —Stephanie R.

"I could not be more pleased with my surgeon. He made me feel very comfortable and at ease. I know I asked a lot of questions, and he always took the time to answer each one and made me feel as if I was his only patient, even though the waiting room was full of others in similar situations. I cannot speak highly enough about my doctor. I researched all of the doctors in my area and I made a great choice." —Erin G.

"I cannot believe how incredible my experience with Dr. Enochs was. He was caring and patient in the office – which totally won me over – but as a surgeon he was hands-down the best. He is so gentle; I was never in any pain. I will never go to any other surgeon again!" —Amy T.

"I am 45 years old and on March 8, 2010 I had Gastric Bypass. Six years ago I was rushed to the hospital and thought I was having a heart attack. My doctor suggested I have gastric bypass. I thought about it, but that was it, just thought about it. I knew I was big, but never accepted that I was as big as I really was. One day after my uncle had his bypass surgery I looked in the mirror and took a real look at myself and could not believe what I was looking at. After that, I made my first appointment to see Dr. Bruce. That day changed my life. I had trouble putting on my shoes in the morning, climbing ladders at work, walking for long distances. I was 360 pounds at my heaviest and had high blood pressure, sleep apnea and high cholesterol. One year later I am off all my meds and down from 340 pounds to 192 pounds. I feel great! Everybody at Bariatric Specialists was so helpful and caring." —Robert

"Dr. Bruce is excellent. He really cares about his patients and more importantly, he does great work. From the first day I met him, I knew that I would in good hands. The staff and PAs of the Bariatric Center of North Carolina are very helpful and informative. They are always excited to see you come in and always greet you warmly. I would recommend Dr. Bruce to anyone who is interested in having bariatric surgery." —J. Harris

"I just would like to take the time to say 'Thank You Dr. Jon Bruce.' Since day one Dr. Bruce was very professional and his staff is very professional also. I had my surgery on August 23, 2010, something I wish I had done years before. I had the gastric bypass, and I am glad that Dr. Bruce talked me into that versus the Lap-Band. He gave me a pro versus con for both and showed me what would happen. Dr. Bruce, besides being very professional, is somebody that makes you feel very comfortable and will take the time to make you feel like a friend that you have had for years. He talks to you as a person, not a patient." —Mike

"Dr. Tyner is a VERY nice man! He's done surgery on my brother-in-law, and will soon perform surgery on my sister-in-law, and myself! He is very knowledgeable and experienced in his field of work…having Dr. Tyner as my surgeon really helps me not to freak out…I'm in good hands!" —Sabrina M.

"My experience with Dr. Tyner has been nothing but wonderful. He is a very intelligent, highly competent surgeon and I felt instantly comfortable in his presence. He takes the time to answer your concerns and is genuinely interested in your progress. He has a great bedside manner and a wonderful sense of humor. I highly recommend him as a surgeon as well as all the members of his staff. I cannot say enough good things about him." —Sarah

"Dr. Michael Tyner is a wonderful and compassionate surgeon. I think he is the best and he has performed stomach ulcer surgery, gallbladder surgery and just recently the VSG on me. His bedside manner is great. I just cannot say enough good things about him and his staff. I would definitely go to him again and would recommend him because it sure helps to go into surgery knowing that you have complete faith in the surgeon. He is very knowledgeable and has time for your concerns and questions. This is my personal opinion of him because he has been such a great doctor for me." —Brenda L.
