More About Paul T. Cirangle, MD, FACS, FICS

Paul T. Cirangle, MD, FACS, FICS, completed a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors at Washington University in St. Louis and a medical degree at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences School of Medicine in Bethesda, Maryland. He then served a surgical internship and a residency at the Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco. He also completed a surgery residency at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, where he served as Chief Resident his final year. He formerly served as a Clinical Instructor of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, and as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine at Manoa. Dr. Cirangle currently serves as Co-Director of the Laparoscopic Associates of San Francisco, and as Medical Director of the Surgery Center of the Pacific and the Surgical Weight Loss Center of Hawaii. He has written several published journal articles. Dr. Cirangle is a member of several medical organizations, including the American Medical Association, the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract and the San Francisco Medical Society. He is also a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
